– Der Pariser Morgen ist frisch, das Licht noch bläulich. Mit hektischen Schritten gehe ich über Pflastersteine in Richtung Parlament. Ich bin doch nicht zu spät? Als ich die Assemblée Nationale erblicke, fängt mein Puls an zu rasen. Ein junger Mann im schwarzen Anzug kommt auf mich zu. „Willkommen zu ihrem ersten Tag im Parlament, Herr Abgeordneter. Heute ist Tag der Abstimmung!“ – In der Webdoku-Fiktion Jour de Vote wird der Zuschauer zum frisch gewählten Abgeordneten. Und was die Autoren Simon Bouisson und Olivier Demangel aus diesem Stoff gemacht haben ist das Beste, was es bisher an interaktiven Geschichten im Netz gibt.
Da ist zum Beispiel unser Assistent, der uns mit seiner amüsant gelackten Art auf unsere Rolle als Volksvertreter vorbereitet. Und erst einmal zur Eile mahnt, denn schon am abend steht eine wichtige Abstimmung an: Die Loi Alexandrie ist ein (fiktiver) Gesetzesentwurf zur Neuregelung der Autoren- und Künstlerrechte im Digitalen Zeitalter. Neben einer kurzen Einführung in den parlamentarischen Alltag präsentiert unser Assistent die ersten Wahlmöglichkeiten. Geht es gleich ins Gespräch mit dem Abgeordneten der konservativen Sarkozy-Partei UMP oder doch mit einem Sozialisten, soll man erst noch einmal ordentlich die Schuhe putzen oder ist die Aufregung vor dem ersten Tag doch so groß, dass nur ein Schnaps hilft?
Ernsthaftes und Nebensächlichkeiten ergänzen sich in dieser sogenannten Webdoku-Fiktion. Und nach jeder Sequenz trifft man seinen Assistenten wieder. Mit den Entscheidungsmöglichkeiten ist man somit nie allein, was ein wunderbares Mittel ist, um als Zuschauer in der Geschichte zu bleiben. Und wenn man sich doch zu viel Zeit für die nächste Entscheidung nimmt, dann wird der Assistent sogar ungeduldig und fordert mit viel Humor zur Wahl auf. Dadurch entsteht ein echter Dialog, was Jour de Vote von vielen interaktiven Geschichten unterscheidet, die immer wieder zu unübersichtlichen Hauptmenüs lenken. Anders ausgedrückt: Jour de Vote hat im Gegensatz zu vielen Webdokus eine erzählerische Dramaturgie.

Subjektive Kamera wie beim Computerspiel
Zum anderen ist die subjektive Perspektive gelungen. Die Gespräche wirken persönlicher, wenn der Abgeordnete mehr Kollege als Interviewpartner ist und dem Zuschauer direkt in die Augen sieht. Um das möglichst autentisch hinzukriegen haben die Autoren eine Canon 5d vor einen Motorradhelm geschraubt. Das Objektiv kommt aus der Architektur und erlaubt es, sowohl den Vordergrund wie den Hintergrund scharf darzustellen. Damit kann der Zuschauer, wie bei einem echten Gespräch, den Blick schweifen lassen und die schönen palastartigen Räume des französischen Parlaments erkunden. Und auch wenn die Loi Alexandrine fiktiv ist, die Abgeordneten sind alle real. Und die Subjektive funktioniert wohl auch deshalb so gut, weil sie alle das Spiel gerne mitspielen. Und sich als erfahrene Politprofis auch nicht von einem Gesprächspartner mit Helm und angeschraubtem Fotoapparat aus dem Konzept bringen lassen.
Jour de Vote ist eine Auftragsarbeit der Autoren für den Fernsehsender France 5 und wurde mitfinanziert vom Assemblée Nationale und der Medienförderungsanstalt CNC. Der Großteil der insgesamt 150 000 Euro ging für die Flash-Programmierung und die grafische Umsetzung drauf. Das spürt der Zuschauer, denn alles läuft rund und sieht lässig aus.
Unterhaltung und Lernen
Am Ende des Tages hat der Zuschauer einen guten Eindruck der schwierigen Entscheidungsfindung der Parlamentarier und dazu noch eine ordentliche und authentische Prise Stimmung mitbekommen. Das kann kein Lehrbuch. Und deshalb wäre die Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung gut beraten eine Webdoku à la Jour de Vote im Bundestag zu finanzieren. Auch für Deutschlands Politiklehrer wäre dieses interaktive Erlebnislernen eine wunderbare Waffe gegen die Lethargie und das klassische Politik-Desinteresse von Achtklässlern.
Ein kleiner Wehrmutstropen zum Schluss: Jour de Vote gibt es ausschließlich auf Französisch. Aber allein aufgrund der Machart und der Umsetzung ist die Webdoku für jeden Pflicht, der sich für interaktives Erzählen im Netz interessiert.
